Tolai

A classic grinning mask from Tolai, in the Gazelle Penninsula.

While not archaic this mask is from a periood when objects were still being produced traditionally. 

As such, this example was made with it's 'hut like' coiffure, which also serves as a rig for wearing.   

More importantly, the nose is rimmed with a small row of rat, or rodent, teeth that was a traditional adronment on ritual masks.
